Test Screening

The test screening is official. I'll be screening my film, Things Fall Together (yay, I have a title) this coming Monday at 9pm at Natura Coffee & Tea, along with several fiction shorts. Come check it out & tell me what's wrong with my film :)

It's coming along. I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm happy with where it's going. I got some good feedback from a friend tonight (Lily, you're awesome), and if all goes according to plan (which it rarely does), I'll be test screening the film at Natura Coffee & Tea on Monday along with a few other short films. If that doesn't work out, I'm going to screen it at home for a few people. My class has been great giving me advice along the way, but I'd like to get feedback from people who aren't familiar with all of the incarnations of this film.

Also, I'm changing the title. A while back I realized the Nike reference, and I don't like the current title anymore. I may post a poll & let people vote later.

update on Poetically Just Us: Following the Dustracks: It's going well. We're way behind schedule, but I feel like it's actually going somewhere now. I'm not the only one putting in time and effort on this project anymore. I'm loving it. I've got a meeting tomorrow afternoon at Expo to show the two people who taught the class/directed/produced the film the progress we've made. Which considering the film should have been done months ago, isn't much. But I should have a rough cut by the time we meet tomorrow. I'm excited. This film is finally coming together. And I've recently become completely nocturnal, so the fact that it's midnight & I've got a ton of work to do is fine. My "normal" sleeping hours are now between the hours of 5am and noon/1pm.
